Safety-Conscious Employees

All employees are given a pre-employment drug screen and are fit for duty upon hire. Random drug screens are performed throughout the year.

All employees receive a safety manual and safety orientation upon hire. Any specific safety procedures and/or practices required by our customer will also be furnished prior to job placement.

Our safety procedures manual includes policies that punish repeat offenders. We will enforce any safety policies and procedures set forth by our customer.

Quality Craftsmen

We will ensure that our employees meet your quality specifications. We employ craftsmen capable of high quality performance while maintaining productivity standards.

Our welders are tested to meet your specifications and project requirements.

Our fitters are qualified and experienced in their trade. Employment requirements include but are not limited to reading blue prints, handling cutting equipment and tack welding.

Cost Efficiency

Southland Energy will provide manpower on an “as need” basis. Your workforce can be increased and decreased at any time depending on your project demand.

The cost of each craftsman is known and can aid in the bidding of projects.

Employment expenses such as insurance (workers’ compensation, general liability) and taxes (SUTA, FICA, FUTA) are incurred by Southland Energy.

Our craftsmen will work to your schedule. Day or evening shifts can consist of 8 to 12 hour days and 5 to 7 days per week.
